What is an Instant Pot and Why is Everyone Obsessed with it?
Eating well is a vital component of feeling and looking your best. But with our busy schedules we worry about the time involved. Or we’re not sure what to buy or how to prepare healthy food that tastes as good as foods we’re used to.
This fun, hands-on class will get you over some of those hurdles!
Nutritionist Amanda Halliday shares some fundamentals about what to put in your shopping basket (and there’ll be some surprises for most of you!) as well as the various ways in which the Instapot can benefit your health.
Chef Charity Frey shows how to put together delicious, nutritious meals, fast, in the Instant Pot and we'll enjoy a meal together.
Entrée: Chicken carnitas with jalapenos, poblanos, cumin and a homemade verde salsa.
The carnitas will be served on pieces of thinly sliced jicama with avocado and coconut lime crema.
Dessert: Indulge your sweet tooth with boozy strawberry jello with Grand Marnier chocolate sauce.
The menu is suitable and delicious for most people as it is naturally free of processed sugar, gluten and dairy free and fits with a Paleo diet. Charity will show you how to adjust the meal to fit your own diet.
